  • Don’t you think that this contribution \ 2.0 hype is going to end sooner or later? IMHO the web is really going too far and we users are about to ask our privacy \ freedom of expression back.

    Ci riempiamo la bocca di termini inflazionati come duepuntozero, cambiamo il nostro linguaggio inglobando termini strani…ma abbiamo mai riflettuto su quanto sia davvero liberi oggi di esprimerci online? All this wave of blogging, twittering, linkedining (yes) are not just changing the way we used to IM and communicate. This wave is forcing us to do it. Feìsbook ci obbliga sempre più a postare foto, a commentare quello che fanno gli altri e a trovare nuove “amicizie”. È asincrono (email, tagging, content sharing) ma anche sempre più disposto ad invadere i nostri tempi con la sua chat che non lascia scampo.

    I think that we’re going to hit a limit at our own expenses. But there will be the moment we’ll figure it out how this communication thing has to happen on the web. And maybe, that will be the beginning of a new “version” of the web.

    P.S. Ho deciso di iniziare a scrivere in modo cross-language e cioè in inglese e italiano, più o meno contemporaneamente. Un po’ perché non sono madrelingua e un po’ perché voglio comunicare a quella fetta di persone (che gergo da salumiere) che è ancora restìa ad imparare la lingua universale. Ahah.

  • I have been reflecting during the last months about usability and how tests are conducted. I am doing a lot of experience at Venere.com where we test our prototypes in many different ways (and this is not banal at all if you think that I am talking about Italy!).
